Livorno is one of the most important towns of the Tuscany coast, very well connected with greater Italian towns and foreign from the airport of Pisa (about 10 km) and Florence (about 120 km). The greater guiding highway and railway, both provide fast and easy access to several main towns in the North and South of Italy: Florence, Rome, Genoa, Turin, Milan, Parma, Bologna.
The Abetone ski area, at only 1h distance from Livorno, is a paradise for ski-lovers and winter sports fanatics. It is the biggest ski area in central Italy and is well-known in the country for the quality of its slopes, the variety of sports on offer and for its natural beauty and fairy-tale landscape.
